Biking to the gym

yesterday was the first time at the gym this year... i might go again today, and then once more before 2009...
total mileage, 7 miles, is no feat, but driving to the gym during the summer is antithetical.

REALITY CHECK

Since I made this decision for a one-tank-of-gas summer, I have only driven twice. I have done all those daily errands on my bicycle, including registering in-person for Seattle University summer classes, buying books, getting groceries, picking up Ezell's, filing financial aid forms.... Not to mention the here-and-there rides, riding for fun or to meet friends.

The tank's arrow is still over the Full mark; I have not driven far enough to really make a dent at all in the tank. This one-tank mission just might work!

Daily average only around 15, including this long ride which makes up for a couple lazy days:

Mukilteo, to and fro

Theresa and I wanted to ride to the Diamondspot tavern and drink beer, which means a short ride but a big hill on the return; I rode up there, from Shoreline to Mukilteo. total mileage, about 41 miles.
